Selbi & Jordan

Wedding Florals
January — Summer

January is usually reserved for beach days and family time with my three children, but every so often, a brief lands in my inbox that’s simply too good to resist. Selbi and Jordan’s wedding was exactly that. When a couple comes to me with a bold vision, trust in the process, and the scope to create something truly special, I’ll always make it work.

They wanted a really polished look with nothing trailing and very little greenery. For the ceremony we created a large ceremony nest which was set up the front lawn of the Estate over looking Muriwai Beach. It was a perfect January blue sky day and the colours of the Estate, the florals, the ocean, the grasses and the sky all looked like a painting.

The tables were set with floral mounds that billowed like clouds down the centre of the long table.

The brief

We are getting married at Muriwai Estate at the end of January and we are having an intimate ceremony for only 30 people followed by an Italian style, al fresco dinner.

There was so much to love about this intimate wedding and I often find myself looking back through the beautiful images that Tom Hollow took.
